New to Kiddies Locker? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered on that one!

Here is how it works: List, Ship & Earn.

  1.  List your items
  • Start by finding clothes in your Children’s closet, that you don’t use or that simply doesn’t fit them anymore. It could be dresses, coats, shoes, accessories. Anything that is related to your Children’s Clothing!
  • Add nice and clear photos of your items. If it’s an item by a well-known brand, add at least 5 pictures of it to show its authenticity.
  • Be creative, specific and honest in the item’s description. By letting the buyer know about damages or defective goods will avoid you some complaints and potential claim for refund.
  • Remember, you can list as many items as you want it is totally free and it could help you sell faster!

2.  Ship your items

  • Once sold, let us handle the work for you. We send you a pre-paid, pre-addressed shipping label. All you have to do is to print it.
  • Pack your item (a personal touch is always nice).
  • Adhere the label and drop it off at the nearest Post Office or MailBox.

3.  Earn your extra bucks

  • As soon as the buyer presses Everything is OK, your payment will become available in your KiddiesLocker Balance.
  • You can withdraw your earnings from KiddiesLocker as soon as you hit 10 dollars for free! Deposit your money directly into your Bank account or PayPal account. Money withdrawals may take up to 5 working days to appear in your bank account. 

    • So here’s how our fees work: For each item sold we charge 15% and $0.5 of the listing price and you keep 85% minus $0.5.
    • Here’s what you get in return: We handle the financial transaction for you, provide you with a pre-paid pre-addressed shipping label, will connect you to hundreds of buyers looking to buy used kid’s clothing and will serve as your customer support team for your sale.
Important
We highly recommend  staying on KiddiesLocker throughout your whole selling process — from communicating to receiving your payment. This way we will be able to cover you in case something goes not the way you expected.

Important
  • All items that you put on sale should be clean. We recommend washing or disinfecting them in a way suitable to the item’s material. Any spots, defects or similar flaws that don’t wash off must be mentioned in the item’s description. Please be aware that if they’re not, we may have to cancel the order.
  • Please note that if you use one of our paid feature to boost your listing and the listing violates our rules, we won’t be able to refund the cost of the feature after we remove or hide that listing.

Step 1.

log in to your existing account or create an account if you don’t have one yet.

Step 2.

Go to your Dashboard and click on “Products” and “Add new product”.

Step 3.

An “Add new product” window will appear where you can enter all the different information concerning your product:

  • the name of your product
  • the price
  • the discounted price if you want to add a discount on your current set price
  • pictures, you can upload pictures directly from your desktop, mobile phone or tablet
  • the category of your product (make sure to choose the right category, so your customers will not struggle to find your product on the website
  • tags, which helps our search engine locating your items and finally
  • the item description, make sure to add a maximum of information concerning your product such as the sizing, colours, materials, gender, and if there are any defects. If you don’t mention them the buyer might want to cancel the order and return the item.

Once your product created, you can always edit it if needed or delete it.

All your uploaded items will be located in your Dashboard under “Products”.

 

Having good quality pictures and multiple photos showing different angles of your product in the best way possible will help you sell faster and attract a lot of customers.

  1. Show the entire product and put the most attractive photo for your main picture.
  2. Use your own pictures don’t upload photos that you find online which will misinform buyers about your item’s condition.
  3. For the best quality, take pictures in natural day light, avoid using lamplight, flash and filters.
  4. Show different angles of your product.
  5. Take close-up photos that would reveal some important features of your product not visible in other photos.
  6. It is highly recommended to add photos of receipts from high-end/luxury goods (our team will also ensure your luxury items are authentic).
  7. Important, to avoid any cancellation/return from buyers show the defects (if any) and mention them in the item’s description.

 

 

 

 

An accurate description of your item makes the listing more appealing to buyers. A detailed title also makes it easier for them to find the item. Increase your chances of selling faster by following our tips below.

To create a descriptive title, include specific details about the item, e.g., its brand, colour, type or unique features.

Avoid words that don’t specify how this item differs from the rest, e.g.: ‘nice’, ‘pretty’, or ‘good’.

Do this: New Pink H&M small evening dress
Don’t do this: Very nice dress

Detailed description

A description should provide accurate information about the item. It should not omit important details and should help your buyers decide if it’s the right item for them.

A detailed description should include information about:

  • Measurements of the item
  • Material (e.g., 100% cotton)
  • Item’s colors
  • Item’s alterations 
  • Brand of the item/ mention if absence of the brand label or other missing parts 
  • Flaws of the item such as marks, stains, spots, holes, tears or rips, scratches, abrasions, fraying, pilling, creases, stretching, washed colour, odours

Please don’t add unrelated brand names or hashtags to the item description. Otherwise, we’ll have to hide or delete such items.

Important
Make sure you describe the item’s defects or imperfections if any and also show them in your pictures. This will help you avoid the buyer being disappointed with the item and returning it.
